Power went out will my pet red bellied piranhas be alright with out filter?

If your tank isn't heavily stocked you should be able to keep the waste down with vacuuming and water changes. I've also heard that you are supposed to scoop up some of the water in the tank and drop it back into the tank every hour or so to keep the tank aerated.
