Does a provocative outfit make a woman more likely to be raped?

recently, the issue of wether or not a woman wearing a provocative outfit makes her more likely to be targeted by a rapist, has been in the news. this issue always causes controversy because to link a womans clothes with rape is seen by some people, rightly or wrongly, as blaming the victim. however, my faith in humanity isnt so bad that i think anyone who makes this link is blaming the victim.clearly any decent rational person knows thier couldnt possibly ever be any excuse for such an evil, barbaric, violent and sadistic act, and that the victim, by the very definition that they are the victim, cant be to blame. but thier still remains the question of wether or not thier is a link between the two. so what do you think? do you think a rapist is more likely to target a woman in a provocative outfit than he is to target a woman in a conservative and modest outfit? bearing in mind that men are highly susceptable to visual sexual stimulation. so if a normal decent man is more sexualy attracted to a woman in a provocative outfit, it follows that a rapist will be also. so does that mean a woman in a provocative outfit is more likely to be raped?
