Nose piercing without parental consent?

I want to get my nose pierced but I am only 16, but I turn 17 in September. My mom likes the way they look but just rolls her eyes everytime i bring it up in conversation. Her reason is that she thinks "It will get infected just like my upper ear cartilage did last summer. I don't want to wait until I am 18 because by then I probably won't even want it anymore. I have thought about piercing it myself but I am not sure yet. Does anyone know a place in Orange County California where I can get pierced with no age limit?
