My mother was wrongly billed by the hospital?

She went to the hospital here in Forsyth because she doesn't have insurance. she needed antibiotics and that was the only way she new how to get them. When she went to the front desk in the er and told them that she wasn't insured so she couldn't pay them today. They took her back knowing well that they weren't going to treat her just so they could send her a bill. She went through the standard blood pressure and temperature thing and then they put her in a room. She wasn't there five minutes and the doctor came in and only checked her ears and said this is not an emergency that he wasn't going to do anything for her and then the nurse came in and said that they wasn't gonna do anything and mom asked if she was going to get billed for this crap and the nurse said no. Today she was billed $150 from the hospital and knew she was wronged. is there some legal action we can take against them?
